39. Little Deaths/ Little Delights
Closing out this takeover is the shadow of the Solar Eclipse in Libra that took place on the 2nd. Solar eclipses are always on new moons, meaning new beginnings and turning points. The sun and moon were conjunct in Libra, the middle child of the Zodiac (alongside Virgo). The turning point between its two halves, Libra rules over balance and relationships. However, Libra is about agreements first and foremost - every relationship is. This is best demonstrated by how Libra rules open enemies as well. Be it the social contract, or laws of equal and opposite effects, everything in the world is ruled by this push and pull. Something to consider as we enter the second half of Lovergirl Fall and hand over the reigns to the first of the last half of our lovely takeovers. Each writer has and will be such a treat, and I’m happy to have gotten to be the middle of this delicious bunch. Give your warmest welcomes to Mar, your time with her will undoubtedly shift something in you.

The yellow sun is fleeting and the winter sun looms, the absurdification of our days will become exhausting, our hands grow cooler and seek warmth in pockets and radiators and duvets and inner thighs and passing lovers.
